Makimono?

Sami got her third happy symbol from something called "makimono."
It says, "makimono."
Sami is happy.
And I think that's about it. Not too eventful, but can someone please tell me what makimono is?
Thanks for reading! Ciao!

Another great day!

This morning, Sami woke up and asked me to give her a full day of unpaused freedom. I happily obliged, since I had the day off, and although I wasn't exactly a model caretaker, I must not have done too badly. In the afternoon, she became Shigurehimetchi.

I didn't think I'd like this character, but I really do.
We hence began our search for happy symbols. I'm not even going to cheat by using the Internet to find out what items/foods/clothes we need. After a few tries, we got the first one: a kimono.

The story behind the hat? Well, we were looking through the accessories for happy symbols before trying clothes! They kind of clash. Maybe Sami will change clothes.
Sorry I was unable to get a picture of when she got the happy symbol, Sami and I were on a road trip.
Suddenly, as I was about to finish writing this post, Sami got really hungry. I took her to the restaurant and ordered her some Ochazuke. Luckily, I was holding my camera and was able to catch a picture (if a bit blurry) of Sami getting her 2nd happy symbol.

After her long day, Sami planted some seeds and got a pet, Shurikentchi, from the park!

Next post, we'll find Sami's third happy symbol, along with plenty of other indubitably riveting adventures.
Until then, mata atode!

Sabosabotchi!

Close to the end of the day, Sami became Sabosabotchi.

We played a few games, and to our delight, Sami won!

Special screen

The iD L has some neat surprises. One I noticed is a secret screen. To open it, make sure you are at the home screen (living room). Then hold down button C, and press button B several times, until you reach the contrast adjustment screen. Hold down button A while pressing button B, and voila! You'll see a screen that looks like this:
According to ichiro_malfoy of TamaTalk, it just says, "My birthstone is Lapis Lazuli." Thanks, ichiro!

Thanks for reading! Today's question: have you found any neat surprises on a Tamagotchi (iD L or otherwise)?

Sami

Yes! Keiko had a baby girl Momoirotchi, whom I named Sami. I neglected her a bit near the end of her baby stage, and when I came back to her, I found her very ill, but nicely evolved into Paletchi. Sami and I planted some seeds and did a few other fun things during the day, but eventually, exhaustion overruled and Sami fell asleep for the night.

Thanks for reading!

Keiko's Last Day

Today, Keiko got her 4th happy symbol.
Since it's her last day here, I decided we'd cover some more extensive goings-on in Keiko's household. We cleaned the house.
We visited Takeshi's and Meloditchi's homes. Keiko even had some harmony pudding at Meloditchi's.

Because of her major happiness levels, Keiko is eternally commemorated in the TamaTomo list.

Finally, her work here was done. We visited the Omiai Party. After a few tries, we found a suitably handsome man: Hirotchi. (sorry, no pics of this, I was on a short vacation)
Keiko and Hirotchi had an adorable baby...
Whoops, gotta build suspense, let's continue this later.

Today, Keiko got her first three happy symbols: Sparkly scrunchie, TamaMori Tree, and tropical fruit. Her great grandmother, Mika, who usually serves tropical fruit, was mysteriously unable to give Keiko anything to eat; we had to buy some tropical fruit from the Cafe instead.
(Oddly, when we tried going to Mika's house again for free food, she gave Keiko a bowl of tropical fruit. Keiko showed how happy she was about having tropical fruit by jumping up and down with a heart above her head.)

After Keiko got these happy symbols, I changed her into Tamamoriritchi again. Also, Keiko got a pet: unfortunately Hapihapitchi again. I accidentally selected "Keep" when asked to take home the pet (I pushed the button too fast). I wanted to get a more interesting one, but I'll have to wait for the next generation.
Keiko and Hapihapitchi enjoy the outdoors.

Long day!
Well, that's all for now. Thanks for reading!
